I am an agroecologist and agricultural scientist with international experience in practice and science. I am driven by the vision of an uplifting, regenerative agriculture.
Hence, holistic and systemic thinking are guiding my advisory work, because every problem has a cause – finding and understanding it is our common task.
With advice that roots (German: Beratung, die wurzelt), I want to show approaches to solutions and help farmers to help themselves, in order to be able to reduce dependencies in the long term.
In doing so, I do not sell any products and do not preach a system, but am on the search for the actual causes of agricultural problems.
Currently, my speciality is the teaching of environmentally friendly and labour-efficient composting methods.
In addition to my consultancy for farms, companies in the food industry and scientific projects, I am also available as a speaker for lectures and seminars.
Education and background
During my studies of agricultural sciences and agroecology at different universities in Germany and Sweden, I explored agricultural topics in depth over a period of seven years.
I was influenced early on by my grandparents' small-scale dairy farm in Germany. During my work on various farms in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and three years in Sweden, my practical focus was on organic farming.
Through advanced training and intensive self-teaching in practice and science, I have acquired the tools for implementing regenerative agriculture.
Time to give something back
The desire to critically question the status quo has led me to take unconventional paths. Off the beaten track, I have acquired knowledge and created platforms for knowledge transfer together with like-minded people.
After the time of collecting good solutions for a sustainable and regenerative agriculture, it is time for me to make a contribution and actively help shaping the agriculture of tomorrow.
Farms often do not have much time to take care of solving systemic problems next to their daily business. That's why I want to work together with agricultural practitioners on their challenges.
As an independent actor with a holistic approach, I provide a broad network and can contribute with current scientific knowledge as well as traditional knowledge.
